Seattle - - March 1, 2004 - - In conjunction with the second anniversary of the Microsoft Mobility Partner Advisory Council (MPAC), SplashData, Inc., the leading developer of “virtual wallet” applications for mobile devices, announced its participation in the council. Microsoft Corp. formed the council in an effort to work more collaboratively with companies who are investing heavily in mobility.

In September 2003, SplashData announced the launch of SplashPhoto 4.0 for Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs. SplashPhoto, originally developed for Palm OS® and recently ported to Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC devices, is the first image viewer to enable Windows Mobile users to manage and synchronize their image libraries with a desktop PC.
